Oh, it's such a proud moment!
Seamless Yoke Sweater from Ann Budd's 'the knitter's handy book of sweater patterns' In Jaeger Extra Fine Merino Chunky:

I decided to leave the neck as rolled stocking stitch as my boy still seems to have an enormous head. This was a dead easy knit. Not having to sew it up at the end was a godsend for that feeling of instant achievement, and it's the first time I've knitted a bottom up jumper on circulars, so I learnt a new thing too. Next time I may stick some cables in it or something.
I've had the book for ages but never used it, I think it might become a favourite though...I should be able to stash bust with kids knits for MONTHS since you can basically choose the yarn first and then find a pattern it fits to with a bit of gauge fiddling.
*it's been scarves or nothing round here for a while
** time is a strange thing, you wake up at 7.30am and think you have a whole day ahead, with careful planning you could knit a whole sock even! And suddenly you're crashed out in front of 'Gilmore Girls' on E4+1 eating shortbread for lunch wondering how early you can actually get away with going back to bed
***I forgot how much I enjoy it :) I almost bought A a knitted thing the other day...!!!

So cute! I think knitting a whole sweater, no matter how chunky, is an achievement!
And I had that round nest thing for my two as well. It's great while they're not mobile, not so much as soon as they start trying to crawl out!
Ditto what Kate said! A whole jumper, with a little 'un? Great job. :)
